International Student Insurance
The school and the US government require that international students under F-1 visas must have specific health insurance. Health insurance for international students is important to cover the costs of medical care in case of accident or sickness while studying abroad. Our Care Plan offers excellent international student health insurance benefits and extra options to help our students get the right solution for their health insurance needs. The Care Plan offers flexibility and freedom, covering expensive overseas medical care such as hospital accommodation, surgery, and other in-patient treatments. It includes benefits like rehabilitation treatment, outpatient surgery, and medical evacuation, just in case. Please contact the Student Services Office for more details.
REPEATING GRADES
Students currently living in the U.S. must progress to the next year of school. For example, students studying in grade 9 while living in the U.S. must apply for grade 10 the following year.
Students currently living in a country outside of the U.S. may choose to repeat a school grade to allow for adjustment in English immersion and western education. For example, students currently living in China and enrolled in grade 9 may choose to apply for grade 9 or 10.

Dormitories
Studies show that students who live on campus not only have a higher GPA, but they are more likely to graduate. It’s also a great way to make new friends and get involved in the campus community. Plus, dorms and residence halls are a convenient, cost-effective housing option.
Ronald Reagan Secondary School has two dormitories on campus, one for boys and one for girls. Each room is set up with four beds, four study desks, four closets, shelving and cupboards. Usually, students are paired by their own grades, but under special circumstances students may request to have their own room. Once students move into their rooms they can decide how to make the space feel more like “home.” Students will share a common bathroom with their own gender on each floor of the dorm building.
Meals
RRSS students are fed well. Our amazing kitchen staff works hard to provide nutritious meals for our students that are homemade and often locally sourced. Dorm students are included on the meal plan, which includes three meals a day, as well as an evening snack called “night lunch.” We believe that eating well contributes to students overall health and wellness.
Fees
The annual dormitory fees is $15,000 and students have to pay the fee when they are registering for their new term.
