About Ronald Regan Secondary School (RRSS)

"Our leaders must remember that education doesn't begin with some isolated bureaucrat in Washington. It doesn't even begin with state or local officials. Education begins in the home, where it is a parental right and responsibility."

Our 40th President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, knew the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education.  He felt the that the importance of a good education should be instilled at home and continuously reinforced by parents, and that government should provide the framework to ensure growth and improvement of education.  Ronald Reagan Secondary School commends the parents who have taken an active role in their children’s educations.

Ronald Reagan Secondary School was founded in 2013, Virginia which is a busy and exciting sub‑region of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.  RRSS is focused on serving the needs of students entering grades 9 through 12.  The curricula of RRSS is designed upon the pre‑collegiate needs of its students, in that, core courses expected to provide the knowledge necessary to score well in standardized tests.  However, RRSS values and encourages creative endeavors as well as students’ pursuit of personal interests.  Thus, our electives offer a wide variety of courses of choose from.
